The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it really is alarmed about the significant amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area each day. The support stage established for intervention activities a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to help the servicing of all prospects and boost usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency sassa said.
